A group of Dunoon women has completed a sponsored 5k run and raised several hundred pounds for various charities, including a local doctors’ surgery.

Seventeen women completed the run on June 5 which started at Kelvin Way, Glasgow.

“We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude and thanks to all the patients who also contributed.”

Maria said: “A great day was had by all. We would like to thank all those generous people and businesses who supported us and donated to our cause.
