LOCH FYNE OYSTERS

Based at the head of Loch Fyne on the West Coast of
Scotland, we have been producing and supplying premium
quality produce worldwide, for over 35 years.
Our internationally known products are processed from
the freshest and highest quality fish and seafood, using
sustainable methods.
PROCESSING OPERATIVES
TEMPORARY POSITIONS
STARTING RATE £7.50 PER HOUR
(Increases to £7.80 per hour upon successful completion
of probation period)
We require additional staff to join our Production Team
to work in a variety of different areas; assisting with the
preparation, slicing and packing of smoked salmon for the
retail trade. The ideal candidates will be committed, reliable
and able to work well as part of a team. Previous experience
in food handling is not essential, as training will be provided.
We have a range of positions available in our:
Filleting/Smokehouse, Slicing Room, Despatch and Yard
Areas.
Full time hours, based on a 40 hour week.
Part time hours also available, with various shift patterns.
Public transport is available from/to Dunoon.
Benefits include: 30 days holiday per annum (pro rata),
plus staff discounts.

Activities Co-ordinator at Historic Kilmun
We are seeking a self motivated individual to work hands on with
practitioners and service users to create and deliver an activities
programme with three main strands:
1. Cowal Connections: oral history project. Working with Cowal
Befrienders and other relevant organisations to encourage older
people to relate their personal histories to a team of volunteers and
young people, building up a history of the area.
2. Creative Minds and Wellbeing: Working with local mental health
organisations, an art therapist and artists to deliver high quality
workshops culminating in an exhibition of the art work of all those
involved.
3. Transitions: Working with local youth benefit organisations to
offer personal and professional development opportunities to those
struggling to find employment.
It is anticipated that the co-ordinator will gather volunteers for
Historic Kilmun from each strand of the project.
The project will average 17.5 hours per week over a year. A
freelance contract will be offered of £12,000.
